This song is about Darryl's need to go solo. The line about him "tired of playing on the team", was directed at John.

Yes,Hall and Oates were and still is the bomb."Sara Smile" is their baddest jam ever.I don't care who remakes that song they can't touch the original which is John and Daryl.I still jam to them today.P.S. I like "One on One" too.

Hey TD3.I love "Sara Smile".I could play it over and over and never get tired of it.Where I'm from the DJ would play that song back in the day and I thought Hall and Oates was black, but when the DJ said that they was white I was very shocked.I was like these dudes got mad soul.I've been hooked on them since the '80's.If Hall and Oates were to release "sara Smile"today it would it would be a hit.Its one of those songs thats so timeless."One on One" is another nice jam, too.

• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.
