Eminem is the biggest selling album of the 2000's! If this article is telling the truth, this definitely put Eminem in the same league as The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Garth Brooks, Mariah Carey, & Shania Twain.....which are recording artists that can sell multi-million amount of albums within a specific decade:

this list is utter BS as usual..
Mariah not being on the list is bs for a start.. Mimi sold 14million copies of TEOM and as far as im aware emc2 is at 4million. that doesnt include glitter, charmbracelet, the remixes and her greatest hits cd so she is sitting at about 25million as far as im aware which would put her at number 3. Also madonna sold around 12 million copies of 'Music' in 2001, she's sold around 8 million copies of COAD and again that doesnt even include hardy candy, her gh cd , her huge back catalogue and American life. MJ should also be on the list because invincible sold 11million , his rereleases sold around 3 to 4 million each and his no 1's cd sold 8 million. Thriller 25 also sold around 5 million. The list is crap! | |

The list is crap! No it isn't. It's 100% accurate. This is talking about U.S. sales, tracked by Nielsen Soundscan, of the 2000s. And Madonna didn't have any big sellers at all. Her greatest hit this decade is Music, which only did 3 million. Since then, she hasn't gone mult-platinum. Micheal hasn't faired well either, mostly because of a lack of new material. (The only album he released was Invicible which only did 2 million.) It's true that Mariah has sold more when compared to MJ& Madge, most coming from her blockbuster the Emancipation of Mimi, but even with that factored in her total isn't substantial.
