80s Jam of the Day: "Hazy Shade of Winter" by the Bangles Yes, I know it's a remake, but I like this version better than the Simon and Garfunkel original

I prefer this one, but I love the original as well.

Fantastic song.
I recently saw the Bangles live. Hazy Shade of Winter is the first song they do in their live shows. They put on an amazing show. Everyone should definitely go see them if they come to your city.

Is it all the original members? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

There are only three members now, Susanna Hoffs, Vicki and Debbi Petterson. Michael Steele the bass player left the band because she wanted to retire from the music business. Michael actually wasn't the original bass player. They had someone else when they first started. I don't think they are planning to replace Michael, they have a guest male bass player. No offense to Michael, but I really didn't miss her and think the three gave a great concert and have every right to continue the band without her.
