And it's not like the media's treatment of bisexuality is going to be any boon, what with the likes of twits like Katy Perry running around... Katy Perry makes my skin crawl for some reason.

You know, there aren't many threads where I wind up looking super-liberal, but... this be one of 'em.

Enough people already think we're really straight and just doing it to impress men. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

It's such a shame that Neither Fish Nor Flesh didn't get the dues it was, well, due, lol.
I still hold it up as one of the most underrated albums of the period. There are some wonderful songs on there. I think Symphony Or Damn was underrated also. That was his best too me. [Edited 5/26/09 13:13pm] "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

midnightmover said: Really interesting interview with Terence here, but at one point he says "I don't think Prince is bi-sexual, but I think that's essentially what he is". Don't know exactly what he means there, but it's an interesting interview anyway. Enjoy.
I don't care what the hell he says...I just want to keep listening to his voice. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

Why did D'Arby kiss Prince on the mouth and why did Prince let him? were they sexually attracted to wach other?
Q MAGAZINE ISSUE 81 - June 1993 http://www.sanandamaitrey...azine.html We discuss music further. He talks about Prince, without drawing breath, for half an hour. D'Arby says the first time he heard Prince's music, he felt an inexplicable connection with it. He met him and Prince "talked his ass off, nothing like you'd expect" and told him he was a poet. D'Arby kissed him on the mouth. They speak on the telephone from time to time ("although there's still very much this big brother, little brother vibe"). He's very wary of repeating verbatim any conversations they have had as "he is a man who has assiduously avoided the big-mouthed mistakes I made and I don't want to blow it for him." He winds up his Princeathon simply and touchingly, saying, "I love him. I really do."

I can readily believe that Prince is innately bisexual but would never identify himself as being so. And by "identify", I mean acknowledge the fact himself.
I know quite a few men whom have only ever identified as being straight but are obviously bisexual - at least on an emotional level if not a conscious level.

I don't agree there are no bisexual men. I think there are gays and straight and then there are people who would sleep with a person of their own sex if they couldn't find a person of the opposite sex. That's bisexual to me according to my experience.
Then again everyone could potentially sleep with a person of the sex he/she doesn't usually sleep with. That wouldn't necessarily make him/her bisexual would it? [Edited 7/9/09 13:16pm]
