^^I can't wait for that book.I really enjoyed the Confessions photo book. For the
Christmas shopping season, they should create some kind of Madonna Gift Set,which contains...

***The Greatest Hits CD
***The Sticky And Sweet Tour DVD
***The Sticky And Sweet Photography Book

Sell it for around $50 and the fans will eat it up.

The book alone will cost around $50, won't it? I'm not buying that (didn't buy the last one). If she included a CD like Price did, maybe... (and only then I would wait for it to be 50% off.

What's up with the "Revolver" song? People are posting it as a new Madonna demo on YouTube when it's clearly someone named RaVaughn who is singing on it. Is it 100% certain that Madonna will be releasing the song?

"Revolver" is one of the three new tracks on Madonna's upcoming greatest hits set.The demo you hear on Youtube is the version that was submitted to Madonna. She recorded her own version, probably adding or removing some lyrics.Madonna will be releasing a new single in late August, but it's not likely to be "Revolver".

From Madonna Tribe :

The Sticky and Sweet tour is less than two weeks away and we've learned that everyone is working hard on the rehearsals.

A few weeks ago, MadonnaTribe.com exclusively and for the first time reported that "Holiday" and "Dress You Up" are going to be two of the new songs in the 2009 setlist. Today we have heard more related news.

As previously reported a rock version of "Dress You Up" replaces "Borderline". The new arrangement keeps elements sampled from the original version but it's played on a rock track that recalls a lot The Knack's classic song "My Sharona".

On the other hand, "Holiday" that replaces "Heartbeat", contains sampled elements of "Everybody" and the new song "Celebrate". We've been told that the song is not such a spectacular reinvention and it's being rehearsed at the moment with a vocoder effect on Madonna's voice.

Stay tuned to MadonnaTribe for more tour news!

why are you always trying to rearrange the setlist?

It's totally unrealistic and a waste of time. Also she never gives encores, the ones on the earlie tours (like BAT, which pretends to do TWO encores) are calculated.

btw, imagine nobody would have wanted an encore after Vogue... Would she have performed Holiday and Keep It Together was well!!

Even more setlist surprises!!!

The MadonnaTribe team has heard some more exclusive tidbits coming from the rehearsals of Madonna's Sticky and Sweet Tour 2009.

After hearing and reporting first that Holiday will be replacing Heartbeat and a rocky version of Dress You Up, played on a guitar riff calling to mind The Knack's song "My Sharona", will take the place of Bordeline in the Old School part of the show we heard that there's another surprising song change in the show.

This time the surprising news is that a dance version of the 1998 hit single Frozen is being rehearsed in the place of the "not so loved by fans" "Rock guitar version" of Hung Up!

Frozen, written by Madonna and Patrick Leonard has already been played twice live on Madonna tours: in 2001's Drowned World Tour and in 2004's re-Invention Tour.

yeah, cool. Frozen is a cool song, but too slow. I like it fast. So a dance version could be interesting.

I'm definitely a lot more excited about "Frozen" than the other 2 tracks being added. I'm sure the dance version will be cool, something like "LAP" on this tour. Any dance version can be better than the boring RIT rendition. razz

If the dance version will be as masterly redone as the new LAP version, it would be awful.

I'm still most excited bout Holiday. After all, it's my favorite Madonna song.

Why would that be awful? That version of "LAP" is great, and works much better than the peaceful folk version of RIT.

"Holiday" is really your fav song? Sorry but I find it one of her most overrated songs ever. It's nice and everything, but her best, really? confused

CrozzaUK

I think the tweaks to the set are perfect - she's identified the weak parts and improved on it.

Holiday is recognisable to all fans, even the casual ones. Dress You Up has been coveted by fans (as had borderline) since the WTG tour, and i think itll be slightly easier for ehr to sing too. Hung Up HAD to go - she could have replaced it with Jimmy Jimmy and id have been thrilled as that version was horranus. As it is we get what sounds like a cool reqorking of it that also sounds more suitable to the set itself. Ill be interested to see if we get any new interludes.

It would have been nice to see a more recent song included - possibly Get Together or Hollywood or something / or even a ballad (ala Crazy for you on RIT) - but i wont complain about any of those. This is probably the most fan friendly / mass appealing set she's done since Blond Ambition tour. Sure RIT was good, but alot of the arrangements let the classics down. This time we get:

Vogue (The beat to this is the best she's ever put her voice to - a brilliant version)
Into The Groove (love it - playful, great remix, original lyrics)
Dress You up (obviously not heard it yet - but im guessing she'll sing it better than Borderline)
Music (My favourite version she's done. love the energy, the dancing)
Holiday (high hopes for this. The Spanish section was great, but lost it abit with Spanish Lesson)
La Isla Bonita (This really got the crowd going when i went last summer - a defniite crowd pleaser)
Like A Prayer (Excellent reworking - again a massive crowd pleaser).
Ray Of Light (not to everyone's liking, but its a pretty anthemic song).
Frozen (A beautiful song that i hope wont be ruined by the reworking).

Im going to the Manchester concert on the 7th and i think itll be fantastic. I really enjoyed her wembley concert alst year, but thought at the time it was more suited to arenas, so cant wait to see it in that setting.

I hope her voice is slightly improved though. Difficult when its such a physical concert, but maybe she'll calm down her choreography after realising it was too much for her voice last time.

Sorry, I confused awFUL with awSOME!

Holiday is indeed my fave, it's a song I could listen to 20 times a day. I didn't say best, I said it's my fave.

i'm sure there is someone out there whos fave if Waiting (Reprise), as well!
