^The "Revolver" artwork is fanmade, but the "Hits" one is real, it's just that Madonna and her team turned it down.

The DVD will be released in November and yes,it will include a live CD too.I don't think the CD will include every song from the concert, though.

While Guy Oseary referred to it as DVD/CD, Madonna in the ICON letter simply said DVD. Since it won't be a Warner release, I doubt they are gonna make a half-baked live CD, instead they will hopefully focus on more bonus features for the DVD.

I hope that one of the bonus features is the rumored "Miles Away" video that was filmed but never released.

^But that "MA" video was basically the live performance, without any new footage. And we now know that the DVD is having a perfectly edited performance of that song! wink

Anyway, now it's strongly rumoured that Lil Wayne might have a guest appearance in "Revolver". Lil Wayne appearing on a Madonna GH will totally piss of the "purists". biggrin

it pisses me off as well, since he can't sing or whatever. but at the end of the day it's only a song so why should I worry?

btw, if Weezy will be on it, it's because he's popular at the moment. everyone knows that. But: he could be on the single version and left out on the album version. would be a great compromise

RUMOR OF THE WEEK---

Three new Madonna tracks, recorded with Paul Oakenfold, have been revealed:

"Celebrate"

"I'm Sorry"

"Broken"

It's also rumored that the greatest hits set might be called 'Celebrate Madonna' or 'Madonna Celebrate'.

And of course,"Revolver" is the other new song, produced by Frank E.This song will definitely be on the greatest hits set and one of the Oakenfold tracks listed above.

That is NOT a rumour! lol Attitude Magazine had an interview with Paul Oakenfold. They wouldn't go around posting fake stuff about Madonna, they are huge fans and she gave them a fantastic interview in 2005 (where she talked about "Devil..." and the RIT DVD)!

Here's the link: http://www.attitude.co.uk...eb845a65d0

Those titles are shit indeed, but it seems it's the whole point, to refer to past songs ("Holiday", "Frozen", "Sorry"), remember Madonna dislikes these GH's so she probably did the bare minimum Warner or her manager wanted her to do.

Only one of the 3 will be on the GH, because Guy Oseary said only 2 new songs would be used, and everyone assumes the other one will be the DJ Frank E song, possibly "Revolver".

Thanks for the update.Yeah, those titles are uninspired, aren't they?

"Broken" could be interesting, though.Maybe she's singing about her divorce from Guy? hmmm

Here's the latest quote from that reliable fan (anna_henstridge) who was giving hints about Oakenfold and the new tour songs long before they were confirmed:

indeed they are all true title how could you doubt the producer? heh
the wink to 'holiday' is pretty obvious with 'celebrate', and she's about to mix some lines of that new track in the upcoming tour version of 'holiday' so that should be exciting! and thats not the only thing added to the new version but some other classic surprises! i did give a hint about that specific song earlier.

'revolver', since plans for the video have been suspended, the date of song release is clearly not resolute, in spite of what's been written around. the decision to add up wayne was only presently made. the song might be out only towards the end of her tour unless she authorizes otherwise. hang on with this one.

i think if yall liked 'get together' from her confessions album, you're going to love oakenfold's sound and particularly 'celebrate' which has a massive party anthem feel to it.. 'everybody wants to party with you' she sings. cut lady m some slack, she hardly ever kept her fans despondent

Guess that also puts a rest to the release date debate. I didn't really believe they would release the single 3 months before the album. She wants to focus on the tour first, and then on the back of tour hype, she can release single and compilation.

I'm not keen on Weezy to be on Revolver, but are excited about the Celebrate thing. Get Together is one of my favorite M songs and similiar to Holiday, if Celebrate reminds of Get Together, I'd be pleased.

In some forums they make jokes of the song titles too. They suggested other, new potential song titles like

Life Is A Mystery
My Music
You Got The Moves

Am not a fan of "GT" at all, and I've always known that it would be a COADF extension, with Oakenfold, while DJ Frank E is more of a HC sound continuation.

But at least the tour version of "Holiday" promises to be somewhat new.

Okay guys, according to ay insider I'm Sorry is NOT a song at all but rather a line of the new song Broken.

So we indeed have only two new songs as Gay Oseary stated before - Celebrate, Broken and Revolver.

One-name-songs seem to be trendy in Madonna-land

Yes, now Madonna Tribe confirms, that along with some cool details!

Following today's report by Attitude magazine about the titles of new Madonna tracks, we have heard the buzz that there isn't actually a song titled "I'm Sorry" but that's just something Madonna says in the song that is at the moment called "Broken".

The other new song by Oakenfold has been correctly reported as being titled "Celebrate" but it is not a rework of the classic "Holiday".
It is indeed a new party song. But we heard that "Celebrate" and "Holiday" will be indeed mashed together along with "Everybody" in a brand new number of the Sticky And Sweet tour debuting in London on July 4th.

This medley is supposed to replace "Heartbeat" in the setlist while a Rock version of "Dress You Up", as previously reported here, is rehearsed as a replacement of "Bordeline" in the show.

So, "DYU" will most likely sound simliar to this:

honestly, let's not forget that she has a sense for great STYLISH titles, burt not very imaginative ones.

Cherish by K&TG was a big hit, and only 5 years later Madonna came up with a song of the same name and it even went Top 3!

Give It 2 Me has been a hit by Nelly Furtado during early 2008, while the song was written!

Forbidden Love exists two times.

Other examples?

I loved get Together from the first time i heard it - so if its anything like that ill be thrilled. think Get Together has a Holiday vibe about it too.

I think we can all safely say the lyrics are gonna be an after thought, I just hope M's singing voice has improved since Hard Candy. Her voice sounds strangely off to me on some of that record.

Rumoured verse 2 the song celebrate

"It's so cool to be uncool
it's so good to be bad
Isnt't this the best thing you ever had?
Everybody wants to party with you,

well, def has her style, and why not? What did you expect for one of her dance songs?

Get Together has a Holiday vibe because it has a similiar chord change. Listen to the RIT version of Holiday, I think it may even have the same chords as Get Together.

The first 3 lines are from the AL outtake, supposedly called "Cool Song" or "It's So Cool", only the line starting from "everybody..." is the actual line from "Celebrate". This is according to the reliable fan who was leaking the info.

Madonnaonline.br is certainly NOT trustworthy as they are responsible for creating the whole tour DVD fiasco, they claimed at the end of last year that it would be out in March under Universal label, while it never appeared on any universal lists. Later on, they published an item saying the DVD was delayed because of the extension and that a 4th HC single would be released. Days later, Guy Oseary shot down any speculation for HC singles and said the DVD would be out at the end of 2009.
