RUMORED TRACKLIST OF THE WEEK

Fans are talking about this latest tracklist, which appeared on a Madonna forum. An "insider" posted this, claiming that it's the real thing...

NEW SONG: Celebrate
NEW SONG: Revolver

hmmm I have a few problems with this setlist...

***It's absurd to leave out early hits like "Borderline" and "Lucky Star".These are her first Top 10 hits! disbelief

***I could do without "Hanky Panky".Why not include "Angel" or "Causing A Commotion"? Those two songs are much better than the gimmicky "Hanky Panky".

***"Nothing Really Matters" shouldn't be included.A better choice would be "Drowned World/Substitute For Love".Although it was never released as a single,it's an important song in her catalog and a real fan favorite.

***This tracklisting just proves that Madonna really needs a 3-CD set. There's no way to fit it all on two discs.

This definately looks like a fan made list. To miss out on her two early hits that still get more radio play than a lot of the stuff listed makes no sense.

If this is the true track list, very happy to finally see "Who's That Girl" and "This Used To Be My Playground".

This Used to be My Playground was on Something To Remember.

I guess I mean on a proper hits set. It really should have been on GVH2 as well.

BTW, I just noticed they included "Bad Girl" over "Deeper and Deeper". "Bad Girl" is a fan favorite but over "Deeper And Deeper"....Hmmmm? I'm thinking fan made.

no collection will have all the ends that would be bad buisness. you have to have some songs that are only on one collection.

I don't believe this tracklist.Songs like Oh Father, Bad Girl and Hollywood were far from big hits plus This Used To Be My Playground seems to be the only song not to be in chronological order there. Definitely fan made

i'd be fine with a 2-CD set being the primary release. but i would hope that they'll use the original radio edits/mixes to get as much on there as possible and also to have that early stuff on CD.

ideally, a 3-CD special edition will be available with some less popular hits and a few things from the vault.

and a comprehensive companion DVD is a must.

what's the latest rumored release date?

"SuperPop" is alot of fun.Very early-80s sounding. It should have been on the 'COADF' album instead of the lame "How High".

I disagree lol "How High" is boring and over-long,with dull lyrics about the price of fame (a tired topic she already covered on American Life).

"Super Pop" is lyrically silly, but alot of fun.Just a good, infectious dance track.

she did many fun tracks with Mirwais. Super Pop, Keep The Trance, Triggering.

I would replace SP and T with HH and Isaac. COADF was never the fun dance album everybody pretends.

Last night M filmed part of the video during the D&G party.

This video is gonna be low budet at his best.

But to be honest, I don't care.

Hell, she performs songs on tour so regularly, why do we need videos? They don't make any money nowadays, so why should she care.

the lyrics from the leaked clip....

...the fire
I don't know what you're waiting for

(chorus)
Come join the party,yeah
cause anybody just won't do
Let's get it started,yeah
cause everybody wants to party with you

It's hard to judge a song from a small snippet but so far,I'm not too impressed.I'd rather have another Pharrell-produced track. His productions on 'Hard Candy' are much better than this.

boy u got a reputation
but u gonna have to prove it
i see a little hesitation am i gonna have to show you
that if it feels right, get on your marks
step to the beat boy that's what it's for

put yr arms around me
when it gets too hot we can go outside
cos from now just come here, let me whisper in yr ear
an invitation to the dance tonight

and im not fighting (it's a celebration)
cos anybody just wont do
let's get this started (no more hesitation)
cos everybody wants to party with you

I'll wait til the whole thing leaks. I guess it's only a matter of hours! (or two or three days).

I like the sound. It's totally Euro!

I can understand you're not too impressed with that David, you US people just don't get Euro-Dance, lol.

The only thing I wanna say is, that so far I'm not impressed with the melody, especially the chorus. People said it's similiar to Get Together, but GT has sucha bittersweet melody and this clip hasn't.

I hope it grows on me but so far,I don't really like it.Paul Oakenfold's remixes are cold and sterile and on this song,it's the same predictable sound confused

I just heard a clip of her new song. It reminds me of something from "Confessions" era. I'm not too crazy about it to be honest, but it's only a snippet afterall. I can't base too much on that. I'm looking forward to hearing the song in it's entirety.
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

Stage for Madonna show collapses in France
Some very sad and shocking news is coming in from France via the Reuters news agency about the Marseille concert due to take place on Sunday 19 July.
A stage being constructed for a Madonna concert collapsed in the southern French city of Marseille on Thursday, killing one person and injuring six, police said.
The concert at the Velodrome stadium, home to the Olympique Marseille soccer team, was scheduled for July 19 but has now been cancelled, a local official said.
Technicians were setting up the stage ahead of the show when part of the roof collapsed.

Further details on stage collapse in Marseille
More details are emerging about the collapse of the stage during construction for the Marseille concert - this report is from BBC News:
A stage being constructed for a concert by pop star Madonna in France has collapsed, killing one person and injuring six, police say.
Technicians were setting up the stage at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille when the accident occurred at around 1715 (1515 GMT).
The concert, planned for Sunday, 19 July, has now been cancelled, officials announced.
The cause of the accident was not clear.
The frame 'started shaking and collapsing', said Marseille city councillor Maurice Di Nocera.
'Fortunately, it didn't collapse too quickly, as there would have been quite a few victims,' he said, according to AFP news agency.
Two of the injuries were serious, Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux said.

I know this sticky is about the tour as well, but I think we should rather discuss her projects instead of liasons or stuff in here.
