(Chuck Rainey's the Man!!! and Jay Graydon with the finishing guitar take!!! guitar )

Most of all, I love the way they break down Michael Mcdonald's multi-track Vocals on Peg!!

Abdul

I first heard this song thanks to one of our DJ'S here in Philly, Greg "G-Force" Evans, he would mix it in with other funky cuts. Love this song

They should've let on who the other players were that had a crack at the Peg solo.
I've heard that Larry Carlton was one which is pretty unbelievable based on his skill level.

Ottensen

I used to have this dvd, until somebody in my house loaned it out without my permission ...haven't seen it since confused

In any case, my favorite track from Aja...who knew they were going for a Hawaiian surf style guitar for the solo. That's going onto i-tunes right now music

I'd kind of worked with them enough to know what I was in for.

I never really knew anything from Steely Dan to my knowledge. But as I sat in a parking lot last summer, I was switching channels, waiting for my roommate to get out of the store. And some cool song came on the radio. I had no idea what it was but I knew it was an old song. I wrote down part of the lyrics (which were really odd and unique). I asked my roommate, who is 6 years older than me and knows every damn song ever I think, what this song was. He looked at me like I just stole his teddy bear. That "WTF?!" look. He said, "That's PEG from Steely Dan." I went home and downloaded it from iTunes. It's a new song for me but I love it.

I love the Classic Album series. Even if I don't like the group or album, I'll watch.

I love this song! It took me forever to understand that the lyric is "Peg, it will come back to you."

I always sang it, "Hey, it will come back to you". When I learned the song was called "Peg", I was like "why"? smile

BTW was this song a hit song in the Urban/R & B market?
