Across the Sky is Probably the original form of Miles Away, much like they always attack was the first version of Words.

hmmm Yeah I have heard this theory, but I'm convinced that "Across The Sky" is an entirely different song. The lyrics are totally different,it's about a woman who's fed up with losing at love. She meets a new guy and finds herself falling in love again, wanting to "travel across the sky" with him.Considering what's going on in her personal life these days (divorce and the new man in her life),the song would be very timely, lol. It's been described as midtempo, featuring lots of acoustic guitar and Justin Timberlake on background vocals, which is probably why it's said to be similiar to "Miles Away".Using the snippet that leaked,a fan put together a very good remix version of it,giving us an idea of the song's melody...

Thanx 4 that! thumbs up!

relevant to whom?

If you prefer her 80s stuff, let Like A Virgin be relevant to you.

I'm glad if Madonna is succeful but I'm most pleased when she releases new music. And she doesn't let us fans down.

relevant to the younger more techno advanced downloading ipoding mp3ing t-shirt buying music trading folk. we all know her die hard fans are like die hard prince or mj fans. they could sing about the phone book and we would still listen. wink this younger crowd are harder to please b/c their taste are different. which is why she sunk her teeth into Brittney. licked Justin and now tryna take a bite outta lil wayne.

Me, too. I don't have a problem with her working with more contemporary artists to stay relevant. I don't think she should just stick with her 80's style. But I think this whole hip hop/R&B sound suits her.

Except that she sounds like a guest on her own songs in most cases on Hard Candy. A more apt album title would have been Timbaland and Pharrell present: Madonna. I loved Erotica and Bedtime Stories, which both had an urban flavor, but they were still Madonna albums. Madonna herself sounds bored on most of the Hard Candy songs. confused

I agree, the song sucks but this may not be the new direction that she's gonna go in on a future album. This is just one of two new songs for a greatest hits set.I would be alarmed if this was the first single from her next studio album.

I actually wouldn't mind if she worked with Pharrell again. As a producer,he "gets" her.He creates tracks that are perfectly suited for her, like "Heartbeat" for example. That's become one of my favorite new Madonna dance songs.

Sure it does, do you think it was coincidentally?

Btw, is this an official ad or is this fanmade? And they use the rejected GH cover.

What, if she really likes such music? She loves Britney's albums madly. She works out to them and she worked with some of her producers on COADF.

What do people think Madonna likes in reality? C&W?
