Janet Jackson taking piano, guitar and Voice lessons

I hope she makes a comeback. I agree with this article that she doesn't deserve to have her career ruined because of Nipplegate.

Insiders tell me that Janet Jackson is moving on and isn’t going to try to appeal to the teeny-bop kids anymore, which may also be a problem with why her music isn’t being well received

Ya damn right. About time someone told her behind. I was done with her. Yeah I'll continue to support her. Im done with the whole thing. Her status should not have to try and compete..she should just be her age..let all them gay boys say Beyonce is better, let them, because we all with know if Janet tries to keep competing...even with an album better than hers more and more of her fans are going to turn away.

I want to write a letter to Mariah too about the error of her ways...

DEAR, Mariah mmm hmm....

If this is true, then great. I wanted to see her play guitar years ago and then Madonna surprised me instead.

I wonder how different her vocals are going to actually be.

Just praying that this doesn't mean that we'll have to watch her struggle through a 3 chord version of "Miss You Much" on tour. Cause we've already suffered through something similar with another (nameless) artist.

^^

I don't think it will, lol. Maybe she'll just do it in the studio like Michael but remain a dancer/singer-type of live performer on stage. lol

yeah this feels very suspicious. and questionable.

i personally would love just a reunion with more of a funky Minneapolis sound with Jam and Lewis.

or Maybe the new records jam and lewis are said to be working on, the time and janet, should be the SAME album. that would be killer - janet on vocals, get sheila e to guest...
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

agree. there are so many reasons why it's been ruined without Nipplegate. first and foremost is the fact that she's completely disinterested in her own career. second, putting out a few crap albums. shrug

I saw Lauryn in concert in 1999 (during her heyday) and she played guitar on a few numbers and it was cool. Her mistake was recording an entire album where she plays guitar (that 'Unplugged' mess).

Well there are not alot of women that do uptempo funky music and stay in the game with catchy singles especially ones that have had great chorographers and great songwriters to back them up. Not to mention fabulous videos people still try to copy to this day.

I've noticed this guy only seems to post these gossip stories from this column which almost all deal with female pop singers.

If it is true, though, good for her and I hope it means she starts really writing again.
