I am not insane, they have been a band for 25 years, write songs, are great players and funky and they have had plenty of hits. They also tour their asses off. Just because they weren't around in 1967, dosen't mean they are not a great rock group. Each to their own.

And yes Fleetwood Mac was 3/5 British but the two Americans dominated its sound in the 1975 -1987 period.

Overall, the British groups way outstrip the Yanks. Rolling Stones, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix Experience 2/3 British and Jimi wasn't going to get over in US before it Cream, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, the Cure to name a few
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

My favorite is Blondie. I don't know who's the best. Maybe Parliament/Funkadelic or Talking Heads?

GUNS

No, it's probably Floyd, but I've never understood them. But of course since we are at Prince.org I'd have to say Parliament / Funkadelic. The only problem is that even if I've listened to George Clinton's music for the last 15 years I don't really remember the lyrics to a single song. Oh yeah, except for "Quickie".

I'll say Death Squad! Can I say Chromeo? Are they even American? I am going to say Kraftwerk. That's my last word on this.
