I was listening to the 12in version of this on my way home from work 2day. It's definitely a jam. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I learned about the song about four years ago when someone leaked Faith Evans' "I Don't Need It", which sampled this song. Apparently I learned it was a heavy R&B favorite. The Jones Girls were definitely influenced by the Emotions. | |

Timmy, if you haven't, you really need to get ALL of their work on PIR. Especially their ST album and At Peace With Woman. They are my favorite albums by a female group...ever. They are sheer perfection. Their 3rd album is good also (Get as Much Loving As YOu Can), but it doesn't compare to the first 2. Their 4th was nothing but a bunch of outtakes. Not very good, not horrible either. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

They released about 6 albums, and Shirley released a solo-project on PIR around 1986.

Shirley's solo album is not that great. It's ok, though. It does have the number one classic, "Do You Get Enough Love".

I'm sure u'll love it. To me, At Peace With Woman is their best. It usually comes on cd with the debut album. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Unfortunately, "On Target" is the lone Jones Girls album not to be reissued on CD. However, I did find the tracks on the internet a while ago and downloaded them and they are excellent quality. You have to listen very closely to tell it's from a vinyl source. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

I would assume it has that mid-80s vibe. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
