Any Heavy Metal fans? Who are your favorite metal band and why? Who here hates metal?
My fave is Van Halen. Because they have the brown sound babeee. Roth is the clown prince of rawk. Eddie used to be the greatest guitarist ever, taken over by our Princey. All you others say Hell Yea!!  | |

See, I wouldn't call Van Halen 'heavy metal'. Their first album is great but not metal. Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth, I used to listen to a bit back in the day, not so much now. I loved the whole Seattle thing from the early '90s and was more drawn to that thing rather than metal which has seemed to fracture into a whole bunch of genres I have no interest in. | |

Too hard to pick one... Iron Maiden - at the height of their game right now, even after all these years. Slayer Soulfly Anthrax (with John Bush, none of that comedy speed metal crap from the Belladonna years) Motorhead (not always metal per se, but more so than you might think) Mastodon Metallica Down Pantera Ozzy Osbourne Black Sabbath This is not an exit | |
