I'll tell ya who sounds a LOT like Taylor Dayne is Anastacia ("I'm Outta Love", "One Day In Your Life"). Her voice is almost identical to Taylor Dayne's. Of course that's coincidence, but she also looks a lot like a younger Taylor Dayne too. I'd never accuse her of copying someone because she really does have her own talent. when an artist slows on the charts or takes a break there is always a copycat waiting in the wings. most artist just copy a small aspect of another artists, say Prince copying James Brown's dance moves and big band performances, or Madonna copying Cyndie Laupers' trashy party girl look back in the day, or Lady Gaga copying Dale Bozzio's look, or G Spot Boyz copying Soulja Boy's sound and penchant for starting silly dance crazes. So many artist rip off but don't bother to show appreciation and say "this is who inspired and influenced me". Fergie and Anastacia try and act like they are originals and they are far from it. They ripped off Taylor and they will have short lived careers in the long run. I give em 2 more albums and their out.
