THE UNDISPUTED TRUTH I've been on a Norman Whitfield trip lately.
All the stuff he produced is the bomb. I was wondering about "The Undisputed Truth". How come they disbanded like that after just releasing maybe their greatest album in 1979 "Smokin'". I know Whitfield records close down in the early 80's but that group was just too good to just quit. Does anybody here that can remember the 70's recollect if they did liveshows?? The only livestuff I have found with them is this version of "Smiling faces"with Chaka Khan's sister Taka Boom. http://www.youtube.com/wa...V69WBvFGBA /peace Manki [Edited 4/5/09 4:22am]

"Smiling Faces Sometimes" is one of the greatest R&B songs of the 70s It has a haunting, dramatic feel to it.

You want dramatic? It can't get more dramatic than their 1975 remake of Neil Young's "Down By The River"

I wonder if they ever did live concerts.
Seeing them live in the 70's must have been wild. /peace Manki
