From what I hear, Cheryl still sings from time to time, but not often. I also heard that Jay-Z wanted to use this for his song "Encore", but he could not get the sampled cleared.

There are some artist that just want to live a normal life. Take, Anita Ward for instance. She had a big hit with "Ring My Bell", and then went back to teaching. The same thing can be said for Bill Withers, who retired years ago and wants nothing to do but relax now.
