「 Look Sharp! ϟ Joe Jackson 」.1979 「 Look Sharp! ϟ Joe Jackson 」.1979 I play this album SO MUCH. Just flows from start to finish. Should get a 30th Anniversary treatment this year if it's not already in the works.

Awesome you mentioned Gotye. I have his Like Drawing Blood album and it's a great listen. Boardface is not quite as accessible as Like Drawing Blood. But it sticks in your head until you go crazy! At least that's what it did for me. Are you outside Australia? If you are, I'm impressed that he's reached beyond our shores! Oh, & I 2nd your nomination for Look Sharp. Only recently got into his stuff after years of promising myself I would track it down.

Oh, & I 2nd your nomination for Look Sharp. Only recently got into his stuff after years of promising myself I would track it down. I'm gonna DL Boardface some day and give it a proper listen. Inaccessibility isn't a deterrent in me checking out an album, actually it makes it more interesting. I'm in New York currently, but I forgot how I first heard of Gotye. I think it was just through myspacing and clicking on a band's friend of a friend of a friend. But, yeah, he's really nice musically. Hope he comes through the States and gig. The first Joe Jackson album I heard was Night and Day and it was so mature, inward and evolved that I felt awkward not checking out his debut beforehand. ... [Edited 3/30/09 18:53pm]

The Compromise Theory:
Based on my analysis, I believe the government faked the plane crash and demolished the WTC North Tower with explosives. The South Tower, in a simultaneous but unrelated plot was brought down by actual terrorists. Is it a deal?

I'm pretty sure that, in the intro to "Mistadobalina," Del says, "I know I'm drunk now," not "I know I've dropped now." It just wouldn't make sense if he said that.

It's, "I know I'm drunk NOW," not "I know I'm drunk man." google suggests it's rather "man" than "now". http://www.google.at/sear...lina&meta= http://www.google.at/sear...lina&meta= but it's MY sig anyway. and any similarity to actual existing persons, artists or songs is pure conicidence The Compromise Theory:
