By the way what happened to him? No music since this album... I created a thread on this question a year ago, didn't get much info. What a waste of talent if he only does one album and calls it quits. Maybe he's like D'Angelo. He'll take take ten years to do a follow up album. By the way two albums for the list are: Brown Sugar - D'Angelo Baduizm - Erykah Badu (Special mention the her song Rim Job ... 'scuse me Rim Shot") [Edited 3/30/09 5:51am]

Remember, at that time there was this guy called Jon B. and De'angelo was doing that stuff as well. Motown, was not really doing too well so I guess they did not wanna take a chance. I have Remy's CD and it was good it was also uneven. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

I also have Remy's album and although I don't play each and every song, overall it was much better than any of Jon B's outputs.

I really like Robin, he unlike Remy has put out consistent albums.Yes, I know that Remy only put out one album, but while he was talented, the material was inconsistent. Robin's material has been more consistent. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"
