Leona Lewis...is she done?

- I don't particularly care for her, her music, or her singing voice but do you think she's reached her peak already?

I don't care for her music but I think she has a good voice. I don't think she's done in the music bussiness, I think she just needs to experiment with some different styles of music. cool

LOL, she's mulatto and from the videos I've seen of her on X-factor, the tannish color is real

Why are people so hung up on complexion? Every last one of us came from African ancestors.

For God sakes, she just put out her debut album last year, and I presume that she's already begun work on her second one. We'll see what happens with that, considering that she was one of the biggest international artists of 2008. She's got the same potential as Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, and even though both had huge debut albums, neither one of them were considered to have much personality at the beginning of their careers.

Man, they were playing the hell out of 'Bleeding Love' when it came out that I started to really hate it.

I've heard of this (and believe it to be true). biggrin

As for the song, yeah, you'll hate it when you hear it every other hour. lol

I should use that, lol. "Say it loud, I'm Pangian and I'm proud!" lol

Sadly, nowadays, if an artist doesn't release back to back albums or do that re-release of the album with the 3 remixes and 2 unreleased songs, than the artist is considered finished for some oddball reason. The Eagles took 10 years before releasing their most recent studio album and it was only sold at Wal-Mart. They did just fine if I remember correctly. Hell, if Kelly Clarkson has made it this far after being on 'American Idol', I'm pretty sure Leona has the potential to do the same with that great voice of hers. nod

lol The radio seriously has the ability to turn people into haters. I could totally love a song and once I get to work and I hear the radio play the song more than 20 times before it's lunch time, it's over for me; unless it's actually a really good song, but how often does that happen nowadays.

giggle That would be soo cool on a T-Shirt with a big picture of it on the back...I'd rock it.

I thought this was pretty cool.

I really want to see what her collaboration with Justin Timberlake is going to sound like. They were in the studio together and supposedly they are doing a re-make of "I Will Always Love You". It will either be good (mostly due to the fact that she has the vocal ability to actually be able to pull the song off); or it will be excruciatingly bad...either way, I can't wait to hear it so I can at least be amused by something on the radio.

This song sounds like it has a sample from the Mary J.Blige song Be Without You, especially at the beggining. cool

I agree. She bores to death.

Did she do anything interesting besides having that hit song? Has she a personality at all?
