[Edited 3/14/09 6:09am] OK, now this is just weird! I randomly put on my favorite OMD song "Enola Gay" about an hour ago. Love "Joan of Arc" and the other 1981 singles! Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Oh My doG ???? Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (often abbreviated to OMD) are a synthpop group whose founding members are originally from the Wirral Peninsula, England

So, anyone know Laurie Anderson's 'Oh Superman'.... Can't find it on Youtube though. [Edited 3/14/09 7:50am]

I loved that track. Never bought it though.
I heard they remastered that album recently but had totally forgotten. Now you'll have me online searching on a Saturday afternoon

There are some covers of 'Oh Superman', but not the real thing, as far as I can see. I saw her perform live once, it was very strange... mostly what I remember is that she had a blue light in her mouth! Laurie Anderson that is! [Edited 3/14/09 11:27am]

[Edited 3/14/09 6:09am] Was there a 12" version of this? I seem to remember it being a lot longer...

Man they played Radio City Music Hall like in the late 80's maybe 86 or 87 or 88 and they were so Cool. I know I have their tee-shirt and tourbook somewhere. I love that Talking Loud Song And Saying Nothing also. They have to Regroup...

OMD did reform and toured either last year or the year before. I think a live DVD was released but as far as I'm aware, there was no new material. O Superman by Laurie Anderson!! one of my absolute favourite singles and it still occasionally brings a tear to my eye (don't ask). I remember listening to the Top 40 run down on RADIO 1 in '82 here in the UK, as they had a policy at the time of playing the top three singles in their entirety, (no DJ talking over intro's etc.), it was wonderful to hear the eight minute O Superman played in full on 'prime-time' radio.
