I don't think anyone, even her fans, consider her an artist. They like the songs she sings, they like what her attitude and persona represent. I have a lot of friends who like her music, and none of them give her credit for being any more than she is: a pop product singer. It still doesn't stop them from liking the music she sings (regardless of who makes it).

Oh believe me, there are a lot of 20 year old girls running around the internet declaring Blackout the best Pop album they've ever heard. There are young gay men who have a penchant for shallow Pop females, sure, but I don't have my wires crossed about the others.

Dude, Blackout is ancient- Circus is the new Britney joint wink . And these days, "Pop" is a code word for "not real music, but it's fun to dance to".

@PurpleSweat: I agree that her new stuff gives her no room to work: faaar greater rang demonstrated on her first album.

She's had some beautiful songs recently, chances are her stupid record company will never release them though.

If you're interested or bored on youtube one day : Unusual You, State of Grace, Let Go, When I Found You, Break The Ice (was released, but unfortunately just as she got taken to the mental ward), Someday and Touch of my Hand.

Dude, she's 50! I'd consider myself to be lucky to be married to a woman who could post like that at 50. Not everyone can stay 25 forever. *rolls eyes*

The biggest problem with CREED, is aside from being little more artistically than a Pearl Jam impersonation, the entire band has a self-agrandizing view of themselves far beyond their own artistic accomplishments meriting such attitudes.

They had a VH1 special for fucks sake! I mean, where the members of the Rolling stones have eaten, smoked, fucked, and killed it over 4 decades, CREED was barely a flash in the pan during the 90s and got their own VH1 documentary?

I mean, that's like inducting Ashley Simpson into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame before Prince..... or at all.

What the fuck?

Seriously, Creed is the White Witch of Narnia who makes the musical landscape always winter and never Christmas. I hate them.

All of these are the "anti-music".

Snow patrol. Boring plodding crap.

People who don't have a proper music collection often seem to like them.

Most of the boring people I work with think they're great, they get palyed all the time on Heart FM along with all the other shite I'm subjected to everyday, as it's the station of choice for my work colleagues.

On some occasions we play CD's, I made the mistake of playin' Chromeo and LCD Soundsystem.

I'm now consider a weirdo.

They really enjoyed Boney M's greatest hits collection that Mr "I have a very wide taste in music" played, along with his Snow Patrol, Simply Red, Lighthouse Family and M People.

I mean, Creed's "Arms Wide Open" song sounds like something Bryan Adam's crazy canadian ass would sing for an animated horse movie.

DREADFUL.

(note: I am not even close to being finished with CREED, yall)

I VIVIDLY remember when Creed came out. People were blasting in my suburban junior high:
Creed
Kid Rock
Linkin Park
that other group that sounded like Linkin Park
Sum 41

2001-2003 was a really bleek period for music lol

HIS HAIR. I mean, even Billy Ray Cirus's pimp-my-daughter ass changes his hairdo.

Scott's hair is like a permanent fixture. disbelief
