New Music to Look Forward To in 2003?

2002 has been a pretty good music year for me. A lot of my favorite bands/musicians put out new albums. Amon Tobin, Bjork, a new Ani DiFranco Live album, etc...

But suddenly it's like I've hit a wall and have no new music to look forward to. No upcoming release date to count down the days towards... I'm hoping for Xenophobia sometime in 2003, but that's just a wish.
cry

What new music are other orgers looking forward to in 2003??
question

I'm up for whatever Mr. Bowie has up his sleeve next year...I'm sure the new Radiohead will be worth a listen..I read that Beck wants to release two new albums next year, which should be a treat...hmmm...we already have the new Missy Elliott, which I'm sure I'll be wearing out through spring...new Kate Bush, maybe? Nah...could never happen...

Definitly Radiohead as well as the solo albums from the members of Outkast. Others possibilities include Fiona Apple,Portishead,Erykah Badu,Stevie Wonder.

Kate Bush - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get off your ass and deliver. 10 years is ripping the piss big time! If she does release her album next year i'll probably die from shock!

Looking forward also to Radiohead, Beck, Fiona Apple and Stevie Wonder. And hopefully we'll get new albums from George Michael, Fleetwood Mac and Bjork. Not sure about David Bowie - he's not as prolific as he once was but i guess he's given us enough already.

I was really looking forward to Beck's new album (Sea Change), but was severely disappointed, so much that I was in shock after the CD ended. I almost brought it back to the store to get a refund simply because I couldn't stand it. Unbelievable!

So Beck is off my list of people who I'll spend money on. It's sad...

But Radiohead will be a for-sure buy. I didn't know they had a new album in the works! And I've given up on getting a new album from Kate Bush. She should sing with Prince again.

The early "buzz" is great! Insiders are saying these new songs don't sound like ANYTHING she has ever done before. In fact, the first single will NOT be a Mirwais song at all.

Kate is definately making an album, she said so herself so it's not just a hopeful rumour. The issue is WHEN we get it.

The remasters were due two years ago and never surfaced.
Only Kate could delay albums that have already been made!

The movie's called "Love Hater". It's supposed to be a Romeo & Juliet type of story. Dre's album will double as the soundtrack.

Unfortunately,William Orbit won't be involved this time.I think she wants to move away from techno. On this CD,she is working with a French duo called Air,also Paul Oakenfold,Dr.Dre,Mirwais and her keyboardist from the Drowned World Tour,Stuart Price.Should be interesting!

I think so.She says the rap song she recorded was "inspired by Eminem" and since Dre also produces Eminem,I think he also produced the Madonna rap song. Can't wait to hear it!

sort of daft punkish but not really.the album drops this year on EMI. imagine them doing a Prince remix like the basement jaxx did (and never released) "all the critics love you"! good stuff.
