because that is her best song Well, that and reading about her in the National Enquirer or some rag that she was a pin-up girl (in America-speak that would be soft-pornie-nudie-model) much loved by the Brits before she became America's new pop fetish
There is actually a porno actress named Samantha Fox and she is also a blonde I think many people got the two mixed up.But yes,the "singer" had a nude modeling career, too.

I think that was by full force too, lyrics are "push it in, push it out", good shit! Samantha has a nice rack and a great arse too. Would love to spank it! I bought some kind of edition of the "Just One Night" (an OK album overall but a bad first single choice) that had it on there. She also did a track with them for one of their albums. I think it was called "All I Wanna Do". Might as well have been on one of her albums, though. A lot like "Naughty Girls", "I Wanna Have Some Fun"....definitely better than "Hurt Me!".

I ended up buying a DVD with that actress. I thought it was this Sam. It was off a legit site (actually, not that legit since they enrolled me into some internet scheme that kept billing me monthly!). It was a horror movie (and not porn...but it was likely a T&A movie).

Oh no, Hun, this was The National Enquirer circa the 1980's...porn stars weren't mainstream yet. The raciest blue movie chick that could make it into our gossip rags back then was that old lady Xaviera Hollander . I do remember seeing topless postcards of Samantha Fox in alternative record stores back then, sort of like they were putting her on blast or something

You definitely had to be there...if you weren't into music in the 80s, it's probably impossible for you to "get" the phenomenon that was Full Force. That is a thread unto itself, actually. Nobody really gave a shit about Samantha Fox in America until she made a record with Full Force. At any rate, I give her credit she had two very credible hits "I Wanna Have Some Fun" and "Naughty Girls Need Love Too." that cannot just be dismissed as gimmicks - they would have been hits for anyone who sang them at least at the time, and that's one and two hits more than 99% of recorded artists will ever have. You can't front on that.

Absolutely! The Full Force sound was explosive back then. They were producing some kickass jams for alot of artists, from Lisa Lisa to James Brown. Surprised that they work with even more people. I guess they made a mini comeback in the nineties with boy bands. The eighties had a wealth of great pop/R&b producer/writers. Remember how you mentioned that Donna should have worked with Jam and Lewis? How about Full Force? They really could have made some good solid upbeat tracks (although at time they made some poor songs for Samantha...maybe they were on the downslide and it could have been worse than MI).

Whoa whoa whoa. "Touch Me" was a huge pop hit in Canada. Are you telling me that song wasn't hittin in the states? "Touch Me" was a huge hit in the US (as big if not bigger than "I Wanna Have Some Fun" and "Naughty Girls"). I recently just heard a Casey Kasem Top 40 and I think it was top five. It was funny because Casey usually does some story about the artist and/or song...just went right into the song! At that point, they've probably already talked about the Page Six stuff...

With regard to "Touch Me" I guess I assumed something so weak and Euro and trendy could never have gotten over in America at a time when we had like five or six entirely different genres of American music still in their prime and kicking ass, but it does appear that I stand corrected. So I will ammend my remarks to say that *I* didn't pay any attention to her until she got with Full Force. There was no reason to.
