These are the only good songs on the list IMO that I ever liked, with the best being #21 and #37. But the REAL knockout punch has yet to come until the very new week. It was sitting at #42 this week, and would appear in the billbaord top 40 the next week....

cool

I like those to varying degrees. I'm with junebug18 that "U Send Me Swingin'" is better than all of them.

More than the highlighted ones in ITunes but these are my faves, I'll italicize those that are also in ITunes.

Yikes- I hated the 90s. Still, it's better than what's there today! I think around 1996 is when I really stopped liking about 90% of chart songs.

I was in Form 7 (Grade 12) at the time and totally into Zhane and Coolio that year along with a new album my brother had bought and we were playing the fuck out of, it was called Doggystyle by Snoop Doggy Dogg.

Does anyone also remember a hispanic rap act called K7, my brother was obsessed with him, he had a song called Come Baby Baby Come.
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

I'll keep

Salt N Pepa (only because they looked hot, not for the song)
Richard Marx (even though the acoustic version is the superior to the single)
Bruce (one of his best songs)
Tom Petty (not one of his best, but still his worst is better than others best)
Prince (although the Gold version is way better)
Janet (again)
Mariah (hero....not that awful Without you cover, holy shit she cant do covers)
10,000 maniacs (barely)

others like Phil Collins, Bryan Adams,Aerosmith, i love usually but these were their worst songs ever, truly bad. Celine Dion, well, the only version of this song i ever thought was good was the Air Supply version. Toni Braxton i like, i just hated everything from that whole "babyface" period, sorry, it was bland, and the beginning of the Mid-tempo craze that killed alot of good ballads.

Wow, I was exactly 2 weeks away from turning 15 in 1994 and I was all about the charts at that time. I liked most of the songs on that list. I remember rooting for Prince hoping he's make it to the Top 10 with TMBGITW and getting excited when it did a couple of weeks later! Little did I know it would be the end and I can't lie, it still bugs me that it ended so soon. sad I used to lust after R Kelly with Bump and Grind and wished he'd do that to me. I had no idea that if I was a 14 year old girl, then I would have gotten my way with Kells. I LOVED Janet's Because of Love. I bumped that all the time at that time. Man I have so many memories of that time and all those songs play a major part of it cause I listed to the radio religiously. I never thought that 15 years later, as I'm a little over 2 weeks from turning 30, that I would look at the charts and the radio with so much distain and disgust. If the radio was a little bit like 1994 now, I would still appreciate it.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

It was a great 12 straight years. I would love for lightning to strike twice for Prince but I'm not holding my breath. Right now it's all about March 29th and Lotusflow3r, a birthday gift to me!

Thank you for the pre-birthday wish, I appreciate it! hug I'm scared to think of what radio will sound like when I turn 35 let alone 40. lol I never would have thought it would have become like this at all. Never. disbelief

"Everyday" is one of my all time fav Collins tracks LOL. It does sound identical to "do you remember?", which i also love, but hey, as long as I dont play them on the same day, thery're cool.
