WTF happened to the '"Does listening to Lil Wayne make you dumb?"' thread?

are you fucking serious? do you constantly follow my every move? i swear this conversation was as civil as possible. deleting threads because they are someone critical (constructively of course) of a person's view is ridiculous and a reflection of your abuse of power. who says this mod lose her privileges? the events of the past few days, deleting threads, locking threads, missing threads is childish man.

for the record this was what was said. obviously someone is not familiar with Ice Cube.

my facts? ahaha you getting emotional. maybe if you wasnt so illiterate and worded yourself better, i wouldn't have called you out on your foolery.

I am not illiterate, I hold a masters degrees and a teching diploma, and have an IQ of 130, its just I type fast and sometimes can't be bothered giving it a spellcheck. Plus you read my message in correctly. In no way did I say all rap was stupid, which is what you are suggesting I said. I said gangsta crunk rap, a sub family of rap and unfortunately the form most heard on the charts.
As far as I am concerned, rap is a debased form of music anyway, how can you compare a semi literate, drug fuelled criminal swearing to a drum machine beat and talking shit to the high art of Beethoven, Mozart or other people who have spent years becoming experts on music and learning their instruments. I liked rap as a teenager but like most people with a triple digit IQ grew out of it and listened to real music for once.

If I shoot up your college, aint nothin’ to it...gangsta rap made me do it. Blame me.

I didn’t misconstrue your commentary one bit. Believe that because you fell into the mousetrap and showed your true colours. Your generalisations are the root cause of your ignorance and are once again reinforced by your farcical and judgmental soapboxing. For someone who claims to be intelligent and open-minded, you’re a fraud and I highly doubt you'd blamed a spellcheck for your lack of insight . I guarantee you have no clue what you’re talking about. Since when has gangsta crunk rap been common terminology? Just because the public want Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy doesn’t mean that rap is illiterate and intangible- on the contrary rap has everything to do with linguistics, social and political forces as well as facets of empowerment, struggle and entrepreneurialship, most of which drew me towards the genre because I can identify and empathise. Who cares what IQ you have? Your many years at university have done nothing other than clouded your judgment. Frankly you have your head shoved so far up your ass. Having a master’s degree has been proven to have no significance or practical effect on a person’s ability or capacity to find or hold a job in the long run.

I am an ethnic minority graduate. I graduated in the top 5% of my state, play numerous instruments (violin for over 13 years) and graduating from law school this summer. But you don’t hear me running off my resume do you? And I am a Wayne stan.

no, it's still there. when mods edit threads, it goes off temporarily while they snip, but it's there

Anxiety

this should have been posted in the site discussion forum.

oh, wait, this is a complaint about a response from a mod. actually, it should have gone in an orgnote TO that mod, not in a forum thread at all.

oh, WAIT. the thread in question isn't gone at all.

wait. what?
