somewhere around 12 dollars.

it came in a plastic sleeve with a few stickers verifying authenticity and whatnot.it happens to be no.010433 ("this is a numbered, Limited Edition collectors record of the brothers johnson "blam" album. these records do not have sound quality equal to conventional records")

sadly the owner of the local record shop passed away recently(r.i.p.Lee M.)

Several years ago,The Brothers Johnson re-formed and went on tour.I saw them in 2002 and got to meet them backstage. That same year, they released a "Live" CD/DVD and mentioned that they are recording some new music. One of these new songs, "Grooveless", was performed on the tour.I really would love a new album from them.

Ain't happening soul. cry In last week's jet issue where are they
now feature, the brothers stated they are retired from the industry.
They are still proud of their legacy but both of the brothers are doing
other things and they are getting pretty good royalty checks.

Yeah, great footage !
I think this clip is from those rerun-series called "The Best Of Soul Train", which aired in the US the last few years. The soundquality on that video is clear.
Not shure, but there seem to be plans for official DVD-releases by the company who took over the ownership of the Soul Train-copyrights.
Nick Fresh spoke about it in a clip which he recently posted on his Youtube-channel for Soul Train Fans.

I don't have that Japan Tour picture disc either, so I'm definitely gonna look for it too. The Brothers are one my all-time favorite bands, so I just gotta have that picture disc lol
