I always hated how almost every song has an interlude before it. I think it ruins the flow.

As for the album itself, I think it's Janet's most overrated effort. I like a couple of songs, "If" & "This Time" are incredible, but this album has a fair share of fillers, something that was not the case with Control, RN1814 or The Velvet Rope.

I hope Janet doesn't have any interludes on her upcoming album

no way. I love every single song on this album apart from "this time" - i think the interludes are appropiate on this album and contributes to the flow.

janet. is not one of her best albums by any stretch of the imagination, but it's decent enough. This is where the interludes became excessive for me, although they aren't as painful as many of the later ones.

I could appreciate interludes which occasionally appeared on albums that i bought or heard.
But i remember listening in some shops to some 90's and later albums with imo far too many interludes, and skipped them alltogether.
Didn't have the patience anymore after interlude-overloads, lol.

I'm not a fan of intro, interludes, outros, or any of that
but I can appreciate the ones on this album lol

However, I still wish they weren't there!
If you will, so will I
