Wow, lots of great old school 80's jams threads being started. Gotta love it! I remember this song and video; it's a good one.

That video is horrible lol but I like this song.It has something that many pop songs today don't have: a catchy hook.In the early 80s,this band had a female member who left for a solo career. Her name? Madonna.

Yeah, she was a member in 1980.They were playing club gigs in New York around that time. One of the members,Steve Bray, actually produced some of Madonna's 80s hits.

In fact, she played drums for the group and might have played drums on this track or an earlier version of it.

I'm curious to hear it,if it has the same type of late-80s dancey sound as "Right On Track".

I never knew that Madonna played the drums. It's amazing what I can learn from people on the org. smile

i have this album, its a corker!

almost every track is a killer synth melody masterpiece!

right on track is a killer track, i've got practically every single mix of this song!
oh yeah, never be the same is a classic too, the single or video mix is just superb.
And remember that movie with Corey Haim and Corey Feldman "License to Drive"?
Well, they do an awesome cover of "Drive My Car" on the opening for that movie,
and that song is also on their album!

but yeah, you can find this album here:smilesmile
