A great scene from - "One Trick Pony" 1979 I LOVE THIS FILM! I wish they would release this on DVD!
This scene also explains why the music industry is in a shithole!

You don't have to be a Paul Simon fan to enjoy this movie. There is a great scene on this movie with the B-52's (1979) when they just broke out.
The band in the film and on the album: Steve Gadd, Richard Tee, Tony Levin & Eric Gale. CLASSIC!! They all had lines and parts in the film, but they were playing themselves. It's a great film about an artist his battle with the music industry and juggling a relationship. I don't think Purple Rain would have gotten the green lightm if it were not for this film. IMO.

I was about to say the same thing about this being a precursor to "Purple Rain".
Along with Neil Diamond in "The Jazz Singer". "The first time I saw the cover of Dirty Mind in the early 80s I thought, 'Is this some drag queen ripping on Freddie Prinze?'" - Some guy on The Gear Page
