Maybe not though. Seems like he's a humourless man at times. Much as i love his music and how he performs, He openly act like a dick. I work with people that act like dicks at times, and i dislike them intensely.

Whatever it may be, MJ is just a more important historical musical figure than Prince, always will be, simple as that.

Yeah I was like you too. I didn't have his posters but if MJ was involved, I would literally stop what I was doing to hear about or see what was up. When my Mom got me the Bad album, I stared at the album for a good 10-15 minutes before I played it. It was a month after it came out and she surprised me with it and it was like I had won the lottery. I treated that album like it was a fine piece of crystal. Then when I was done drooling over it, I played it like 3 times on my record player that night. I was happier than a pig in shit! To be 8 years old again.

I will just say that when I was a diehard MJ fan and hung out on the boards and with friends and such not only were they nasty about Prince but they had a very narrow view of his music. They couldn't or wouldn't give the man credit when it was due so I feel the opposite about Prince's fans being bitter. Maybe some are but it hasn't been my experience. And I've always enjoyed the fact that Prince is not a huge figure with mass appeal. But I don't understand why people can't like both without it being a versus thing.
