hmmm From that list, the only song I really like is Sheena Easton's "The Lover In Me".Pop music started to go downhill in the late 80s,although it's still better than what we have now.

Wow, when you were little? I'm getting old.

Didn't Babyface have something to do with that track?

This was my jam from that list:

I had no idea what he was talkin' about in this song, as I was only about 7 or 8 years old.

I listened to it recently and was like eek at the lyric, "I gave her my OWN ride."

Tone Loc, you graffilthy man. eek lol

I've still got the 12inch, which bore a nice bright red sticker on its back sleeve reading: "This album contains language which may be considered offensive."

Eventually I thought it was cuz of the cussin in "loced after dark," which was on the flipside.....but I know NOW! evillol

I think you have it the other way around. As for music now, there is none. There's only shit hop and shit hop is not music.

1989 was one of my favorite years for music, but mostly from April onward.

I'm gonna go with Ms, Easton, though her music hasn't held up. '89... this is near the beginning of my exile as far a music goes. sad
