What artists are you interested in getting into right now? Are there any musicians whose music you really want to explore further at the moment??
I'd post my list, but there are currently 262 names on it But I'd like to see your list If you will, so will I

I've been heavy into Sylvester's music lately. The album I got in the mail yesterday finally completes my Sylvester collection. Andy is a four letter word.

which album was it? is he funk? This is Sylvester..... He had 11 albums. He was an openly gay disco singer in the late 1970s. After disco "died", he made Hi N-R-G music (undergound dance music of the early 1980s). He died of AIDS in December of 1988. Most of his music got very little radio airplay except for his 1978 hit disco single "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)". His last single before he died called "Someone Like You" got a little airplay but not much. His 1982 song "Do Ya Wanna Funk" was in the movie "Trading Places". Other than that, Sylvester is mainly known in the gay world. I started buying each of his albums in the 2000s when I could find them. Since I discovered Amazon, I've been ordering an album or two each payday and I received "Sell My Soul" in the mail last week. It was the one I had the hardest time finding and the only one left that I didn't already have. . . . [Edited 2/24/09 12:44pm] Andy is a four letter word.

Ohh! I love "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" Now I'll add him to my list! He's got a lot of great stuff, especially on his earlier albums when he was still on the Fantasy record label. He sung in a high falsetto and his songs were a mixture of disco, funk, a few great slow jams, and even a very black gospel sound to some of his songs. I've been enjoying the hell out of his music lately, especially the songs I had never heard before (since he got very little radio airplay back in the day). Andy is a four letter word.

Weird... I've been mostly into them the last few months too (exploring the box set, still only part way through). And then you said on that other thread you just started pulling out Tori again about a week ago and the same thing happened to me.
