i swear loads of people have just bought them hoping to make a profit i wish they would start putting people photos on the tickets like they do for Glastonbury it would solve the problem of ticket touts and if someone needed to sell there ticket they could return it to the ticket office and get refunded for the face value. Surely for such massive companies like Ticketmaster and the O2 this wouldnt be that hard. Sad thing is, no doubt alot of these folk think he is a paedophile yet are prepared to make money off of him all the same. No way i think he is, but what if he was? Where would that leave these people in the grand scheme of things?

It's a good idea in principle, I think, but in a scenario like this, with people ordering tickets from all over the world and not everyone having access to a webcam or scanner, not very practical. I do think they could do something simpler, like putting names on and checking ID or something, because this is really disgusting.

Is this a trolling, baiting, insulting thread? what gives?
I don't understand this MJ sticky rule (at present? i understand he's high profile but so?) all i see he's popular, so that's enough to segregate people that want to talk about him? There's more than just page 1,2,3 etc on this forum, so what if it get's flooded by MJ threads? This particular forum isn't about Prince! I'd say the clamour for MJ only highlights the failings of other acts if anything.

CrozzaUK said: lilgish said: showing up and performing is the key, he doesn't want a million irate people. Its a massive undertaking for him i think. He's obviously been through a lot over the last few years and there are big question marks over his mental and physical health but i reckon he'll be ok - although i dont reckon he'll be able to do all the shows. I think given the level of interest that in itself will be enough to motivate him to give it his all. Does anyone know when it goes into rehearsals? It will be interesting to see MJ in the modern live performance arena. Massive stage shows have moved on quite alot over the past decade so it will be interesting in itself to see how he embraces it. The HIStory tour followed a boring and tired formula he'd relied on for years - i hope its a massive improvement on that. Yeah, so who is going to be the band? the dancers. Come in guys, what is his show going to look like, he can't be the same set every night....

The reason being due to a lot of complaints from the community and people in this forum, it was decided by the mods how to deal with the flooding of MJ, JJ and jackson et al threads. Give this a chance. So far the community is. I'm sure MJ has his own board for fans to post on??? I have no issue with there being a single MJ thread, after all this is a Prince site, and as all of you know I am a fan of both. I personally think being able to have a single "go to" thread for all news etc is actually beneficial to us. The only issue I have is the lack of respect for us on here by some people on the site. As a Prince fan, I have to say I get annoyed when people come to an MJ thread just to be negative and make comments that actually add nothing to the conversation rather than upset. But maybe that is their hope. I would have hoped that in a time when both these artists are poised to release new music and make their individual, and collective, fans happy, we could just enjoy it. I mean if these artists themselves can continue to admire each other and their work, it seems funny that a lot of fans (on both sides) remain overly protective and threatened by anyone who is an "opposing" fan. You forget me and some of the other members of the nWo (including bboy87) got a little annoyed at some MJ posts and some MJ threads weren't even that good. Even that one I started about the sheikh and MJ. After it got too hot in the kitchen, me and bboy ended up nWo-ing that thread to death. You actually think it was just the non-fans complaining?
