50 dates, 360,000 ticket have sold in the pre-sale. The remaining 640,000 go on sale, starting tomorrow (although they are likely to be sold in batches).

Whats the chances of MJ actually completing 50 dates? it sounds crazy to me that his people are putting him out there like that, we all know he's had/got health problem, they should ease him back with a couple of gigs.

I'm no fan of MJ, but I think people are counting bucks rather than considering him and his health, if I was a MJ fan I'd be concerned the effect these concerts will have on him.

Well, you think you know about his alleged health problems! He has 30 shows spread out over 3 months, then 3 months rest and then another 20 shows spread out over 2 months... that's doable! He wouldn't commit to this otherwise!

Has he been in great physical/mental health for the last 5 years then ?
I admit i'm not MJ's doctor, but I've seen interviews with him, I've seen reports about his health and his physical condition, I'm by far no MJ defender, I just think its allot to commit him to when he hasn't played a gig in years and the pressure on him will be immense, he doesn't react well to pressure as seen on previous tours..

I'm also thinking not being an actual "tour" is better. He complained about not liking touring because of moving around all the time and being in different time zones, days or rest being spent traveling anyway. In one single place it's a lot less grueling compared to a 50 date tour.

definately sure, i phoned up and she said that they had all been sent an email about it and its 4 per household/card/person

i agree with you about not knowing how they will fill the venues all i can think is they will change it in a week or so when they think everyone has had an oppurtunity to buy tickets

Well i think his confidence will be sky-high with these sales, i bet he'd have been worried about the reaction he might've got. Mike will be overwhelmed with the clamour and interest for tickets. His adrenalin will be off the chart, if he's half fit, he'll pass this test easily.

But even if he re-arranges just one cancellation, it would be jumped on by folk like he killed someone.

And what do you know about his physical health? You know he had back problems at a time he was standing trial being accused of being a childmolestor and faced the rest of his live being in jail! Hardly normal circumstances! He pulled through, even though many said there would be more break downs! And what do you know about his mental health?? Just because you don't understand all his decisions doesn't make him a vegetable incapable of doing what he did all his life!

Like you rightly say, you are not his doctor... but a real doctor put him through extensive tests and he passed... so I think he's up for it and will do fine!

Besides, he has 4 months now to get his act and shit together! It's not the first tour he's doing, so I guess he knows what he's doing!

Oh that... yeah, but they also have to show an ID... I think for people, who go to the boxoffice at the O2, there are different rules! It's also posted on the O2 website! Ticketmaster is different! Unless they change the text on the actual Ticketmaster order page I will risk it!

It's likely to be a disaster of HIStoric proportions.

I know right!
To be honest my excitement has drained down with all the added dates, nothing but a circus gig!
What will be his energy vibe come the 15th show? Reading about the extra 40 dates sounds unbelievable.

You're aware that he did 40 shows per leg on the Victory, Dangerous, Bad and HIStory and all Jacksons/Jackson 5 tours? But there he also had to do a lot of travel inbetween shows!

Tina Turner is 70 and doing just as much shows!
