90s Obscure Jam: "Street of Dreams" by Nia Peeples This was a good song-remember she used to be married to Howard Hewett. He is singing backup on this track/

I bought the album that this song comes from years ago, but I never listened to it.....checkin it out right now.
Another song on the album, "The Entity (Sex)" was written and produced by Bernadette Cooper of Klymaxx.

Nia isn't a bad singer. This is a good song, but it is dated-typical 90s production "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

True. I still like it alot though (and no doubt thats why I like it). Typical early 90's Carl Sturken/Evan Rogers (Donny Osmond, Rhythm Syndicate, Barry Lather) writing and production. Its Nia and Evan on backing vocals bytheway (I can clearly hear Evan), not Howard. I love her obscure "you dont have to aske me twice" from the "sing" OST. Good pop. It's funny because both versions came out around the same time. I can understand Bernadette giving it to Alisa since she was a protege and Bernadette producer her album.

Never heard Alisa's version and don't know anything about her.

She has a nice voice. The cd is ok. She used to be in the group Madame X, then went solo with the help of Bernadette.
