U2 to perform on David Letterman for 5 straight nights

This came from Dr Frunkenberry: www.drfunkenberry.com

We have just received word that U2 will be performing on David Letterman for 5 consecutive nights!!!!!

The Late Show With David Letterman never had a guest perform 5 nights in a row before.

The shows will air Monday March 2nd til Friday March 6th.-Dr.FB

Well, I think U2 is starting something new for the late night shows. I guess others will follow in their footsteps and do the same. Not a bad idea.

Once upon a time (around 1995, I tihnk), Prince was rumoured to be doing this on Conan. Never happened, obviously.

That would be kewl if Prince did that.

Just to remind people out there in TunaFish Wyoming who don't keep up with him of how much of a genius he is.

That would be beautiful. Prince did something like this on Leno, it would be great if he did it again. Hopefully Letterman so I can have a chance to see him again. lol

The White Stripes did a 5-day run on Conan O'Brien in 2003 - and I hear they will be his last musical guest before he takes up his stint on the Tonight Show.
