Will is cool. I dig him a hell of a lot better in action movies though.
As a rapper he was what he was. He was cool as a part of jazzy jeff and
the fresh prince but was just average as a solo act. I could never hate
on the dude. His show fresh prince is still hilaious.

The fact that the top American actor in Hollywood is a person of color means that, in a country where whites are still the majority, perhaps progress is being made in different ways. Of course, Will Smith isn't the first person of color to rule the box office roost, but he is able to star in any number of different vehicles -- superhero movies, romantic comedies, dramas -- and bring in dollars. So the issue isn't provincial pride, it's American pride. His success suggests an expanding of boundaries.

I fail to see how that's a bad thing, unless one is just swinging wildly to feel the breeze.
