I can't imagine Zapp without Roger. It would feel like watching a cover band. Oh well, it's still better than seeing any of these current artists though and the rest of the lineup to that show looks great.

I saw them in 2004 and before the show,I was very skeptical.I didn't think it would work without Roger but I was pleasantly surprised. They kicked ass!

I've gone to numeorous Super Oldies concerts and I can truly say that this was one of the best.

Zapp turned it out!! They were the highlight of the show.

JoJo was alot of fun, too. She did the regular 3-song set that she always does ("Candy Man","All Night Long" and "In My House") and she mentioned that she has a new solo CD out, called 'Slightly Dangerous'.

I had never seen Aalon before,so it was cool to finally see him.He performed one song that I can't recall, then he performed the cruising classic "Rock N'Roll Gangster".

GQ and Heatwave did their thing,as well. The Originals were GREAT! Billy Paul still sounds great after all these years."Me And Mrs.Jones" was well received.

I saw them live in 2004 along with Slave,Lakeside & Slapbak in Cali. Even though it would have been great to see Roger do his thang, the Zapp boys were fantastic. They put on a great show. Great costumes, dance moves & a very professional performance. They did kick ass

Even with Terry "Zapp" Troutman as the current band leader who is very able to write new songs, Zapp is for the most part a cover band.

But at least Terry will use Roger's talkbox instead of that bullshit Auto-Tunes software that T-Pain be using in his shit-hop/rhythmless bullshit songs.

I'll take the talkbox AND the vocoder any day over Auto-Tunes!
