I think her last few performances have been really hard for her. At the beginning of her perforance at the Superbowl, she seemed soooo nervous. Last night was no exception.

It was the most emotional performance of the night.

I love her. She is one of the few contemporary performers who sing so effortlessly.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I don't think it was her best performance or a good reflection of what she can do from a technical point of view. But it felt very real and raw...it stood out from the other performances for that reason.

Jennifer is one of the few singers today that measure up well against the big-voiced divas I used to like back in the day. I could easily hear her sing "Got To Be Real" by Cheryl Lynn. I also wonder if she could do a bit of dance music along the lines of CeCe Peniston's "Finally"? In addition to Gospel flavored material, she has quite a few options. She just needs to hone her singing style and continue to work on controlling her voice.

Her latest performances have been excellent. She may have gotten extra spotlight because of an unfortunate set of circumstances, but damn it if she isn't working the snot out of every moment given to her. They (the reviews) said she absolutely killed at the Neil Diamond tribute over the weekend.

She is going on short tour with Robin Thicke in the Spring. It was just announced.

the emotions caught her the end. was it the best performance ever? nope. but it reminded me of when gloria estefan performed the first time after her bus accident. sometimes it ain't about hitting the note, its about the struggle back from wherever you just came from. twocents
