Debarge: The Movie

Apparently there might be a Debarge movie coming out on HBO. I hope so that would be a good movie they got just enough drama for a movie. Hell the Jackson's drama looks like a TV special on Disney channel compared to Debarge drama.I would pay to see that movie.

That sounded strange at first, but I think that's a good match. DeBarge is familiar (to varying degrees) in America, but the story hasn't been overexposed to the point where HBO can explore the topic in an original fashion. I'd watch.

I just hope they cast people that look similar to them. I don't see the movie happening, though. I would rather HBO do a docu on them.

I don't know how true this story is. I love Debarge, but to the mainstream, they are more than a bit obscure and I can't see how they would get ratings

I doubt that they would use actors who would actually sing...they'd lip sync...

they should probably cast mostly unknown actors but I'd go with Rick Gonzalas as El Debarge and John Leguizamo as either Bobby Debarge or a younger Bobby Debarge Sr. I think he could really portray his supposed abusive side.

All n all it would be one of the most interesting casting choices.

Debarge was very good looking. Actually, James, El still don't look bad. Rick Gonzales is not handsome enough for El and John Leguizamo as Bobby, no. I wouldn't call Bobby abusive

Huh so in your first line you would not call Bobby abusive, and in your next comment you think he is sexually abusive

Its because she is a self proclaimed Debargeologist. She only assumes what they imply because she doesn't know any of them to get the real gist what they are saying.
