playing tag with winos, the only way to have some fun Hey what was the name of the album that had the songs Rick James wrote while imprisoned in the 90s? I haven't heard any of his albums after the 1980's.
Thanks. | |

Ghetto Life. My favorite Rick James song.
Sorry. The album Rick wrote in jail was Urban Rhapsody. [Edited 2/1/09 7:42am]

Thanks. ... and the album is crap... unfortunately [Edited 2/1/09 13:55pm] It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I think if I had to spend time in solitude, my mind would be racing with musical ideas. I thought maybe prison could have brought it out of him?

Well, I pretty much love all his albums from Come Get It! to Throwin' Down. Cold Blooded has its moments, but it's not as great as his previous releases. I don't really remember liking much of Glow, and the releases after that (The Flag, Wonderful, Urban Rhapsody & Deeper Still) are complete rubbish It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I think that album was brilliant, the songwriting was good, the music was dope, it sounded like Ricks old style wit a new breath of life. It was funky, it was smooth, it was complete, for my money, pound for pound its a classic, imo. Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

It would have been "Fire & Desire" Pt. 2!! If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!
