Oh hell, McDonald's was my first job in June of 1985 a few weeks after I got out of high school and the Mc DLT had first came out while I was working there. When I got out of high school, I was sick of school and said I would go to work. Well, I worked in that damn place long enough to have two paychecks (four weeks) and I said the hell with that, I gladly went to business school. lol

I used to beatbox that commercial (I was 5, a boy who made a lot of noise)

Did "New Coke" ever arrive in the fountains of restaurants back then or was it just available shortly in cans?

Was it even different?

Sorry for the tangent there giggle

It was in both the fountains and the cans and bottles. New Coke in the fountains tasted just as horrible. I had always loved Coke my entire life so I was mad as hell that year, first Shitney then Coke. It was like the great depression. lol
