Good house-/trance-music hardly gets covered here on the org, mainly because typical music-snobs don´t consider electronic dancemusic to be actual music! Or it is just plainly being depictid as being ´Eurotrash´..... Well, that last argument doesn´t go up well anymore as of lately the best house-/trance-producers are from the Nort-American continent.i.e. Kaskade, who resides in San Francisco or DeadMau5 (pronounce: Deadmouse) from Toronto, Canada!
DeadMau5 (Joel Zimmerman, 1981) has proven to be the producer to watch, and finally released his debut 'Random Album Title' late last year. The album is a compilation of the tracks that he released in the clubcircuit over the last few years.

I was fortunate to see Deadmau5 at 2 massive raves in Los Angeles (Together as One 2008 & this past new year's eve)! Seems everyone paid to see Deadmau5 -- the area he was spinning in outside was PACKED, and they eventually blocked people from entering. Deadmau5 should've been THE headliner in the MAIN ROOM instead of Armin Van Buren.

I dig "Move For Me" with Kaskade. Cool vibe.
There's a specific synthesizer sample during the intro of "Not Exactly" which sounds powerful.
