Jeff Beck has teamed up with a new manager, Harvey Goldsmith, ahead of a new album and his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame on April 4

Beck’s partnership with Goldsmith marks a return to management for the veteran promoter, who has worked with a diverse array of acts from The Who to Luciano Pavarotti.

Of his new alliance with Goldsmith, Beck says, “I have known Harvey for a long time and we met again at the Classic Rock awards at the end of last year. Soon after I decided I wanted a change in my career so I approached Harvey in December. It’s a great team and we have big plans, including new material and more performances.”


Beck is currently on the road in Australia with dates throughout Japan following in February. In the Sixties Beck famously replaced Eric Clapton in The Yardbirds and now more than 40 years later the guitarists are set to perform together for two dates at Japan’s at Saitama Super Arena.

A new Jeff Beck album is expected later this year following the March 30 release of the DVD and Blu-ray Performing This Week - Live At Ronnie Scott’s via Eagle Rock.

“I’m very excited about working with Jeff, it will be a great partnership,” says Goldsmith. “He is raring to go and his band are incredible, just brilliant".
