A movie about the Debarge family would be interesting for sure. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing that. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

It would be interesting to see a Debarge movie. They were a colorful bunch wouldn't mind knowing just a bit more about them. I cant see a movie happening until Bunny comes out with her second book. That way you get it all instead of just the childhood. Hope their deal comes threw with HBO. Sometimes being nice isn't always the nicest thing to do....

As much as I love DeBarge, I do not want to see a movie based on their life. And honestly I can't see it happening either. I think it will probaby do better as a stage play like the play "My Brother Marvin" with Keith Washington and Clifton Powell that came out a couple of years ago and was written by Marvin Gaye's sister. They could do it in selected cities, but I don't think their life story would do good being made into a movie, IMHO.

You know....I have to agree. At first it seemed like a good idea, but that shit would be hella tragic. The movie needs to have some type of balance between the good of their success and music and the problems they faced and a sort of ending/epilouge that would do them justice. There are some of them that are trying to get it together, some still cutting music, and there's a whole other generation of children keeping the DeBarge legacy alive.
