Hidden Gem: Stevie Wonder "They Won't Go When I Go"

This song is so precious and sweet. Do you agree? If not, then you're not genuine. Anyway, this gem is for you.

Me, too. I love Stevie Wonder and have all of his albums, but George Michael made this song his own. He's taken it to another level. Pure awesomeness.

Just listened to the GM version for the first time...didn't add anything to it for me...struggled a little I thought in the middle verse/bridge where it goes up really high. Very good performance nonetheless! George is talented. But doesn't top the original in any capacity IMO.

Great song from a brilliant album!
FFF is prob my Stevie fave cool

Is this song "hidden"? That's news to me.

And anyone who thinks George Michael has ever improved a Stevie Wonder song knows nothing about soul.

It's not my favorite SW song. I like GM's version more. His version is better produced. More dramatic. The song sounds better with a piano instead of synths..
