Amazing...they're both hilarious. Phyllis reminds me of the way Syleena Johnson performs...comedy...intamacy with the crowd...and entertaining all in one. I know Angela Bofill is in a nursing home (wish her the best). And it would be such a blessing to still have Phyllis around. May she rest in peace...she was gone to soon. I really wish she could've fought the emotional pain she was going through. | |

I'm currently reading the Phyllis Hyman book.The two didn't get along because they were labelmates but Clive Davis was paying more attention to Angela Boffill's career.After a few albums that didn't do very well,Clive lost interest in Phyllis and began concentrating on the other female artists on his label (namely,Whitney Houston,Aretha Franklin and Angela Bofill). .
