Wow, I didn't know she sang this before Stevie! This is really nice, but I like Stevie's better.

There's something haunting in both Tammi's voice and the Andantes in this song.

Poor Tammi, she was beaten very badly by both James Brown and David Ruffin. She had a gorgeous voice with definitely a hint of sadness in it.

My mother told me she was the love of Marvin Gaye's life and that he wasn't the same after she passed.

Yes, this is my fave version of this song. I love Tammi's voice. She is so underrated to me as a singer. She was so talented and charismatic. There's no doubt in my mind that she would have been a big star if she had lived longer.
