Me! I'm a bigger fan of The Human League, but I picked up a Heaven 17 compilation a few months ago and haven't been able to put it away! Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I LOVE The Human League. I learned about Heaven 17 a couple of months ago in this huge book about New Wave which was published in early 1983. I also love the whole look and sound of the New Romantic era "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Heaven 17 got their name from the Stanley Kubrick film "A Clockwork Orange". Malcolm McDowell picks up two girls in a record store and he looks at an album by the then-fictional band Heaven 17.

My favorite Heaven 17 tune is their collaboration with Jimmy Ruffin, on "Foolish Thing To Do"... ... [Edited 12/30/08 10:16am] " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout
