A friend went to the show last week...said Kylie as a performer was underwhelming. Mind you we'd just seen Stevie Wonder a couple of weeks before which is just about as good as it gets! Kylie didn't have a chance....

It's very odd that she didn't take the tour to the U.S. At least one show in each major city wouldn't have hurt.

Just saw her twice! It was an amazing show, and I felt that Kylie really seemed like the focus this time.

Mixed feelings about KYLIE. The show has all the "gimmicks" of what artists like to throw in, but im more concerned with the music than people flying across the stage, and how they present the music this time around, setlists etc.. I like Kylie though over the last few albums its been hit or miss, though X was an improvement, my interest in Kylie and the fact that alot of the songs havent been memorable is the bigger issue.

it's her best show. she sounds great and the brand is pretty tight. the entire encore is just about Kylie.

Im not denying her greatness im just saying that the last few albums or so have been a let down to me, and nothing too memorable from them. though X was an improvement.

I really liked that she kept the encore to just her - i thought it was a nice touch. I also loved the simplicity of the slightly angled square stage. I also liked the fact she added horns to her band this time.....you dont see many pop acts do that these days, and its especially surprising when kylie does it as there aren't many horn elements to her songs.

Kylie and EMI haven't been getting along. alot of the outtakes seem to be better than the album.

There are plenty of memorable tracks from the last 3 albums for me shrug In fact, I think they are perhaps her most enjoyable albums.

I think this show kicks Sticky & Sweet's ass. Kylie's vocals are pretty awesome. Vocally, Madonna has absolutely horrified me in the clips I have seen.

Oh, and the dancers are incredible. She has the best (and hottest) acrobatic dancers.

Janet should take some notes from Kylie with respect to her video projections.

its an opinion, i just think theres been quite alot of filler on the last few and some in the 90's, to me she hasnt been a strong album artist at any point, but more a singles artist, but lately the singles arent memorable for the most part. To me she needs some stronger hooks in the songs .

Janet and Madge. Kylie's projection since the Fever Tour has been better than either one of them.

Janet needs to fire that Gil creature and hook her ass up with William Baker.

Yes, this was at the NJ show.

William Baker is a cutie.

I almost forgot, I love the way Kylie updates her songs. For example, Spinning Around with the Got To Be Real sample. It's important to keep the feeling of the original if you're going to change it up, and I appreciate that.

I agree! Fever and Body Language are my favorites, but Light Years and X are also very, very good to me.
